2. Which personal data do we process?

When you visit our website or contact us through the contact form, we may process the following personal data:

  • your email address;
  • your telephone number;

Messages sent through the contact form are received by email at contact@diamantdental.be.

The website is not connected to a patient platform, appointment software, CRM system or external marketing software.

We ask you not to send extensive medical or sensitive information through the general contact form. For urgent or medical questions, it is best to contact the practice by telephone.

If you nevertheless include medical information in your message, we will only process this information to the extent necessary to handle your request correctly or to organise dental care.

When you apply through an application button on our website, your email is sent to contact@diamantdental.be.

Application data is stored during the recruitment process and, in principle, for a maximum of 6 months after the end of the recruitment process, unless you give consent for your data to be stored longer for future vacancies.

8. Is your data processed outside the European Economic Area?

9. How long do we keep your personal data?

We do not keep your personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

Messages received through the contact form or by email are, in principle, kept for a maximum of 12 months after the last contact, unless further follow-up is necessary.

When your message leads to an appointment, treatment, patient administration or another legal obligation, relevant data may be kept for a longer period in accordance with applicable legal and deontological obligations.

Administrative, tax and accounting data are, in principle, kept for 10 years.

Patient data and medical data are kept in accordance with the applicable legal and deontological retention periods for healthcare providers. In Belgium, patient files must be kept for a minimum of 30 years and a maximum of 50 years from the last patient contact.

Functional cookies are kept for the period mentioned in the cookie policy.

Technical data necessary for the operation and security of the website are not kept longer than necessary for technical security, troubleshooting and the correct functioning of the website.

10. How do we protect your personal data?

DIAMANT DENTAL takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

Access to personal data is limited to persons who need this data for their function.

Medical data is handled with extra care and is subject to professional secrecy.
